Mika Radescu's [RO] work, As soon we become motionless, we are elsewhere, installed as a 2mx2m, 12-piece outdoor spatial installation alluded to notions of isolation, solitude, togetherness, contemplation, imagination, mental space, and silence. The work was to be accompanied by four sound performances. Sounds #1 took place inside the installation, on September 27, 2020, the day before the second lockdown.
Behind Mika Radescu's 12-islands Aletta de Jong [NL] applied on the garden's brick stone wall a surface of white lime in the dimensions of a film screen, titled Landscape. The lime changed from one, sometimes dramatic image to another over time depending on the weather conditions. Both installations were to see between September and April.
